We use an Asterisk PBX and we record our phone calls using the g.729 codec. I would like to be able to listen to these recordings using WMP or another popular media player. Does anyone know of a plugin allowing WMP to play g.729 files? Does anyone know of a another player which supports g.729?
Thanks, Vance |

best bet is to look for support for h323 or the openh323 project: http://www.openh323.org/code.html
[edit] also, check for speex support (see if a speex plugin fixes your problem) - at least on linux, speex uses libopenh323 [/edit] later This post has been edited by xmixahlx: Jul 20 2005, 00:34 -------------------- RareWares/Debian :: http://www.rarewares.org/debian.html

So I am stuck with g.729. |
