AIFF: it support TAG and Album Art?

Hi to all,

i'm testing various format to better understand the difference.

Im totally new with AIFF audio format and I have two simple question:

1) it support TAG? (I know that wav don't support it, but AIFF?)

2) it support cover art album?

Thanks very much

iTunes embeds AIFF metadata as an ID3v2.2 tag inside an "ID3 " chunk, which does support Unicode text and embedded cover art.  Since AIFF is Apple's format, it's basically a de facto standard.

In addition to iTunes, at least dBpoweramp and J. River's Media Jukebox (free) & Media Center (commercial) support AIFF tagging and embedded cover art in AIFF files. In MJ & MC the feature is optional: http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/WAV & AIFF Tagging.

EDIT

... I know that wav don't support it ...

Actually, dBpoweramp and the J. River programs support also wav tagging, including embedded cover art.
