How to setup XLD to rip cds similar to dbpoweramp "secure rip abo

Hi,

I used to rip cds on windows with dbpoweramp, i have since then moved over to XLD, I am happy with results that i get from XLD except for 2 things which annoy me

1. If a cd has got a scratch in the middle of the disc the start up process hangs and constantly speeds up and slows down the drive. Is there a way around this? If dbpoweramp had to read this disc it would just read the TOC and not the whole disc before ripping.

2. Is it possible to set XLD to skip / abort a track if it has too many frames that it has to re-rip like dbpoweramp?
