here is an example:
http://somestuff.org/tmp/qt3.php?moviename...tantine-ref.mov (i could get download status, qt version and timecode in miliseconds) now is there a way to extract codec info as well (video and audio)? (iam not getting anywhere with GetUserData(vide); for example) -------------------- PANIC: CPU 1: Cache Error (unrecoverable - dcache data) Eframe = 0x90000000208cf3b8
NOTICE - cpu 0 didn't dump TLB, may be hung |

Did you try the navigator.mimeTypes and navigator.plugins arrays?

uhmm, you sure those will go down to the codec level? - i dont care what user has installed at this point, i just want to read the codecs from a specific movie, like:
v:3vix a:apple aac
