I have read a paper which mentions a term i don't understand
the original sentance: Speech quality in error-free condition at nominal input level of -20 dB with respect to the OVL point. Anybody can explain it to me ? thanks |

QUOTE (hengheng1981 @ Feb 24 2006, 04:13 AM) I have read a paper which mentions a term i don't understand the original sentance: Speech quality in error-free condition at nominal input level of -20 dB with respect to the OVL point. Anybody can explain it to me ? thanks If that's a sentence.. can you tell me where's the verb? Edit: Did a search on google: Maybe this can clear it up : http://www.itu.int/ITU-R/space/plans/Worst...e_Approach.html QUOTE The overlapping bandwidth limit Ovl corresponding to this frequency offset limit fol1 can be expressed as follows: Ovl = 13 * (Bi + Bw) / (2 * 27) in the case of a wanted analogue signal E.g. in the standard analogue case where Bi=Bw=27 MHz, Ovl = 13 MHz.
