getting metadata from online stream / playlist

Hi, I am new to foobar and am having a hard time to get metadata to fill in properly from an online stream like this:

Code: [Select]
http://stream.r-a-d.io/main.mp3

I just save the page and open it in foobar.

I can see the track title and the artist in foobar but in last.fm it only shows as r/a/dio and doesn't scrobble because the metadata only has r/a/dio filled in as the track title. Everything else is blank.

I tried to do the automatically fill in values route to get the track and artist right with some ideas but failed.

If someone can help me out it would be great!

If I'm remembering correctly, dynamic metadata from streams cannot be accessed by components.

well no, you're not.  there are some components which don't support dynamic titles but that's only because they've been coded that way. there is support in the foobar SDK for developers to add it if they want to.

if the OP is using the offficial last.fm software/component, i suggest getting rid of it and installing this alternative. http://www.foobar2000.org/components/view/foo_audioscrobbler

this has options for submitting from streams:

Oh hey, thanks a lot!

I actually went that route and gave p too soon! I saw that both were named similarly so I deleted the official, tried the other one, then went back to the official, hah.

THANKS A LOT!!!
