Hi. I noticed that a lot (but not all) of my CDs appear to have zero gaps at all when using the "detect gap" feature of EAC.
Is this normal? The first track generally has a 00:00:02 gap, but all the other tracks have zero length gaps.

Yes.

Tracks need not have gaps. A length of zero means they donít.

That is reassuring. Thank you. smile.gif

Another question:

I read in a EAC setup guide that if all the tracks are reported as having the same gap length, something fishy is going on.
I just ripped a CD where all of the tracks were reported as Pre-gap length 0:00:01.73.
Since the guide said that this was supposedly an error, I re-tried using EACs gap detection methods A, B and C. Same result.
Should I be worried? Here is the log: http://pastebin.com/WzL66JJs

Don't believe everything you read, especially if it's in an EAC guide.
