I put together a pretty minimal skin using Quiark's animation and some of his code as a starting point. The control buttons are transparent. They're laid out below the album art (left to right: previous, play, pause, stop, next). Admittedly, the code for the progress bar could be cleaner, but it works...
great component, thanks! [attachment=2359:attachment]

I made this for my own personal use and decided to share it. Each text area is scrollable, so if you have really super long artists, track titles or albums, they'll never flow out of the window. Each bit of info is also degradable, meaning if the track is missing any tags, it will default back to Unknown [tag]. ie. If %artist% is missing, it will default to Unknown Artist. Props to Kaliber1000 for their awesome background tiles, one of which I used for this skin. Enjoy

foostick... ![]() another one i did last night...i remember seeing a winamp skin like this in winshade mode... no funni buttons this time, just simple playback, minimize, maximize and close. PS: hope you have Dungeon font Hello, I just discovered this great plugin. It is something I've been really missing in fb2k since I upgraded to 0.9 and lost Foopilot One. I really like foostick skin. Simple and effective. I have all the time, I just have some minor issues. The stop button is in fact a pause button. I didn't like the transparent title/info fields, so I changed it. The only think that bothers me is that it is higher then my titlebars and it covers upper parts of menu in maximixed windows. I'll try to downscale it..... And now one feature request: would it be possible to add a volume slider? Or at least a volume indicator and +/- buttons. Or if you tell me how to do it, I could try it myself. Thank you. |

"Raven hereby releases not one, not two, but three new skins. There's a new version of Mini, which has scrolling enabled and features a simple 'stop' message. If someone wants more work to be done on it, please ask so.
Also included are two versions of Listen or Die. They are based off a popular anime-show, but this reference is only seen with the 'no-album-art' image in the full version. They are using a LOT of special functions that few people seem to ahve used as of yet. Tey are way more advanced than Mini/MiniScroll. Miniscroll: ![]() http://www.xs4all.nl/~vaas/Foobar/Mini-scroll.zip Listen or Die: ![]() http://www.xs4all.nl/~vaas/Foobar/Listen%20or%20Die.zip Listen or Die Mini: ![]() http://www.xs4all.nl/~vaas/Foobar/Listen%2...0Die%20Mini.zip Thank you very much!" |

The possibilities of creation with foo_title are amazing.
Here's my attempt to *replace* the foo_minview.dll (fb2k 0.8.3) (I used Raven's Mini as a basis): ![]() Link: http://membres.lycos.fr/norbert/divers/min...w_with_time.rar This post has been edited by jon.schaffer: Aug 15 2006, 13:48 |

(I used Raven's Mini as a basis) I'm honored. Yeah, I made them, I finaly managed to get a forum account. If I may ask: what do the up/down arrows do? Change the display? -------------------- There's a storm on the loose, there's sirens in my head...

I think the link is broken. Works for me o_O Edit: use Right-click -> save Edit 2: a new one, with more buttons and informations: ![]() http://membres.lycos.fr/norbert/divers/miniview_os.rar Edit 3: update -> now, when stopped, displays some text. If you prefer a semi-transparent background, change background.jpg to bg.png This post has been edited by jon.schaffer: Aug 17 2006, 16:43 |

Hi,
I created my first skin for foo_title: ![]() You can download it here (7-zip compression). It is quite similar to foostick. It is slightly smaller (18px high) to fit my windows titlebar. If you know how to produce a screenshot, please let me know. If you want to modify any part of my skin and release it, please feel free to do it. It is completely my own work, except of a part of the XML which formates bitrate displaying. I took it and modified from my Columns UI .FCS. Unfortunately I can't remember where I got the original code from. Edit: Is the size of my image acceptable or should I better crop/resize it? This post has been edited by vlada: Aug 17 2006, 11:46 |

Press the PrintScreen key to copy the screen to clipboard and then Ctrl-V to paste in your graphics editor
