How do I disable WAV file tagging? ([FLAC|CD]-->WAV)

When ripping a CD to WAV or when converting FLACs to WAV, how can I disable tagging of the resultant WAV files?
I prefer having a simple way to just set foobar to just NOT tag WAVs so I don't have to go back and remove the tags from them if I don't want them.
Any solutions would be appreciated.  Thanks.

I'm interested in this too. It seems to have come up recently.

What is the problems with the tags? Incompatibility with other software?

If the current behaviour leads to problems, maybe Peter will consider a Converter option allowing to not copy any metadata to the target files.
It's only audiophile if it's inconvenient.

And/or a toggle for WAV metadata in Advanced preferences > Tagging, as with other tagging formats for which options are offered.
