Here's mine. With expandable album info and dynamic artist/style filtering. Screenshot:
Requirements: 1) The 'tracknumber' field must be set. 2) Style info is currently taken from 'genre' field. Multiple values supported (up to 5). 3) VA albums should have the 'album artist' field set. And for effective artist search in such albums this field must contain either 'Various...' or a combination of the involved artists' names. If anyone's got any ideas on design, functionality or enhancing the performance, I'm listening.

very nice, I like this config! but where do you have to but the js.js and style.css files? cause the hyperlinks don't work now? sorry but I"m not good in these things but thx for your config.
Edit: got it figured out ! Is it maybe possible when you expand an album that you can also see the artist of the songs? and get rid of the album artist thing cause I have a lot of compilations. How do you do this? This post has been edited by stampgevaar: Oct 9 2006, 14:23 |

What do you mean by 'get rid of the album artist thing'? I need some way to distinguish between single artist and multiple/various artists albums. These scripts use the most common for the foobar community way: if %artist% not equals to %album artist%, then the album contains tracks from various artists. If equals (that would be the case if ALBUM ARTIST is not set), then the artist is just one, and there's no need to show tracks' performers in the track list.
Here's the properties window for the sixth track from The Absolute Supper (which is VA album):

Song artists will be shown when you create ALBUM ARTIST fields in your VA albums' files. It's rather easy (I guess, even easier than modifying the script for your particular taste), so what's the problem?
Maybe you don't need them, but I do. The compilations constitute only a small part of my collection, and writing the same name near all the tracks in all other cases seems just wrong to me. 2Strictly4me: Nice colors. |

Hi Hakubo. Pardon my ignorance but I am a total noob. I copied and pasted your code but the albums don't expand on clicking. Where do I save the java script and css file to get it to work?

In the same folder where you've saved the html file to.
If that doesn't work (that is, the document is displayed exactly as on the screenshot, but JS still refuses to behave as it should), I'll need some additional info - such as the name and version of your browser, and, if possible, the output whatever Error Console there is in it generates when you click on the javascript link. where is the header / body / footer text?. i don't understand which section paste in text tools boxes. thanks... If I'm not mistaken, he has split it up with <!--:::::::-->. So the top stuff is the header, the stuff between the <!--:::::::--> is the body, and the stuff below the second <!--:::::::--> is the footer. Thats what it looks like, I haven't tried it tho. -------------------- Song List: keikoniumboards.ke.funpic.org/files/songlist.html

slightly changed and now formatted they can change it easily how they would like the background Cover now the Case.jpg is (see code) and cover or folder as they would like.
I always copied it into an extra folder and with run cmd befehl: CODE cmd /c copy /y "$replace(%path%,%filename_ext%,)%artist%.jpg" C:\Webserver\cover.jpg or CODE cmd /c copy /y "$replace(%path%,%filename_ext%,)cover.jpg" C:\Webserver\cover.jpg if with somebody could<A[could|might]> help both cmd in one. bat they forgive my bad, however, in an English manner the love for music and Foobar holds me in a young way;) CODE %total_length% functions only with cwb_hooks (more leider) or somebody has an idee thankfully every hilfefoo_peter |

Is it possible to input album art images.
<img src="$replace(%path%,%filename_ext%,)folder.jpg"> Currently I'm using this code in the body and it seems like all the images are broken. When I copy the broken image link in firefox I get %20 for every space. If I delete the %20 in the url and replace it by spaces the image is displayed. Is there any way to fix this or is this not possible? |
