EAC with Wine in Linux: ALL Tracks in Red Text

When running EAC 0.99 prebeta 5 under Wine 1.2 in Linux, ALL tracks appear in red text.  This issue is also described in the following discussion threads at other forums, but not yet on Hydrogenaudio:

The program seems to work OK, but does anyone have a clue what the red text means?

EAC uses red text for tracks in pregap.

I know that, but this situation is different.  ALL track information on EVERY CD is red.  Note that the track titles themselves are not red, but all other track information is red.  The links in my OP indicate that others have experienced the same issue, but no one has offered a resolution.

I experienced the same thing, and it got me wondering too.  However, I compared a track made with Wine/EAC and one made with XP/EAC and they were identical.

I suspect that it is just a quirk within the software without any real meaning.  Although Wine is an excellent piece of software, it is not Windows.  I have been working with Wine more, and sometimes you get some unexpected behavior with other software too.

Anyway, I would not worry about it.
