The '?' problem

Hi I have a question. I noticed that when I play usually individual songs I get a question mark ? displayed for my %track artist% for example like here:

1. Jody Wisternoff - [Nostalgia CDS #02] ? - Nostalgia (Remix)

I have been fooling around with it and I noticed that if you create a cue sheet for many files I mean one cue sheet for many files and if your %album artist% does not equal to %track artist% it will work fine. Oh I am also using 0.9.4.2 beta.

So can anyone explain?
