matroska/MKV accepts ADPCM stream?

Hi. Does anyone of you know if MKV should theoretically accept an ADPCM audio stream or not? It's because I thought mkv supports virtually any codec, but I always get error messages and can't get it to work.

(PS: I wanted to ask this question on the matroska forum, but registration doesn't work there. Has anyone of you managed to register an account so far?)
