Win key as modifier for global kbd shortcuts

Could we please get the Win key a modifier for global keyboard shortcuts?  It's much easier to assign Win+X to play than Ctrl+Alt+Shift+X to make sure I don't step on the toes of any other program's keyboard shortcuts.  More options are always better, right?

Also, does anyone with a little time, MSVC++, and the knowledge want to whip up a quick plugin to output the title of the currently playing song to a text file?  It would be most appreciated.

Seconded. I actually PM'd Peter some time ago with a bug report and a feature request to that extent, but I'm not sure if he considered it.

Has anybody seen a feature like this in any other application? I haven´t.

Your laziness and inability to search impressed me so much that I just had to point out this:

ooooops    apologies to Ricky12369 why did you bring that back up? to show that it had been implemented?

Well anyway maybe my post will at least point someone to those plugins who wasn't previously aware of their presence (they are after all not mentioned on the front page of the forum so they CAN'T EXIST  )

I don´t know if an app can use the win key actually, but I haven´t met one, and a quick google search didn´t help me. All I know is that it´s possible to block it, to prevent games from accidentially switching back to desktop. So I can´t state that it´s impossible. But I think so, at least in a clean way. If someone corrects me, fine. If it will be implemented some day, even finer. But I do not think that repeated questioning will speed up things...

I agree that sometimes some words to accompany my thoughts would reduce the need to explain it afterwards, sorry

I also agree on your second point, although it keeps leaving its files in directories everywhere...

I haven't had that problem.. strange! Have you mentioned it to the author of the plugin?

He knows, I think. I read about it before I started using it, it´s not too bad, I just searched my disks, it´s just eight, like one a day...I can live with that.

Well, this version fixed the play/pause bug, let´s wait for the next. I don´t want the author to lose a non-paying customer due to not reacting to requests fast enough ;-) Ok, sorry to whoever felt insulted by this, no need to run short on politeness....

The Bluecave Slider for Winamp does this, and I would greatly appreciate this feature.
