Sound Card/Auzentech X-Fi Forte, multi-out? Options

Hey, I was wondering if sound cards that have separate headphone/stereo-outs, like the Auzentech X-Fi Forte, can output different sources/signals? I would imagine so but I'd like to ask yall and see some explanation. The card has a dedicated headphone out with a pretty beefy amplifier and then there is a separate 7.1 VGA/serial type of output. As well as an optical-out. Are these outputs able to compute different signals at the same time? I ask because I'm getting into DJing and ideally I'm looking for something that I can plug my headphones in to cue music as a separate device and then have a different 'master' line for my speakers... question is, would this card achieve such a task? There might be some DJ software that can send your "cue mix" to the rear channels. But typically, you need two soundcards if you want to play two different sources.

Many soundcards have multiple independent channels but entertainment oriented cards generally do not. They expect a single multiplexed 5.1 or 7.1 audio file as input in order to deliver signal to their multiple outputs. If the soundcard uses the Windows mixer, you can be pretty sure that it does not have independent channels. If it has its own mixer software, the mixer panel should tell you what it can do.

Professional multi-channel cards, or something made specifically for DJing, is what you need. Or two soundcards.
