screech with songs

When I play files with foobar 0.6 and 0.586 the music screeches, as if it had too much treble, it sounds like when you turn your music all the way up with cheap headphones that the bass can't be played, the difference is, my speakers have crazy bass and with wmp9 it sounds perfect including when it's turned up higher than in foobar. I just started noticing this after I installed foobar 0.6, any ideas/suggestions?

More info? Output, what DSP's enabled, what files played?
