format help please

hi there, by this: '['%_foobar2000_version%']' i get the full version info "foobar2000 v0.6 beta 14"
i want the end up with "[v6.14]" and/or "[v0.6.14]" and/or "[v0.6 b14]"
can someone help me with this. thanks.

You can use this string :

Quote
$substr(%_foobar2000_version%,11,$len(%_foobar2000_version%))


But I just made it in 2 minutes using the "help" button meaning that :
1) There may be a better/simpler way to do it
2) you could have done it yourself
