Opinion on phono preamp Options

I just bought one of these:

(from a cheaper source, half the listed price)

I like the fact that it runs off a 9v battery, eliminating AC hum issues & other possible noises from the power lines. I will be using it with my new turntable.

Any opinion on the specs? I'm always looking for "decent/solid at a very cheap price point," did I hit it?
