Does a Winamp Plugin like this exist?

Is there a plugin where I hit a hotkey, and I can get some kind of overlay in OpenGL/D3D games and type in a track without having to alt-tab? I know FRAPS has an overlay in games so I know its possible, but I haven't found one for winamp. Basically a "Jump to File" for inside full screen games?

Thanks

The original UT had a similar plugin, you could certainly control basic Winamp functions via the tool in the game's UI. I don't think a tool like this has ever been made - certainly all of my mates at LAN parties'd be using it if it existed.

I use WinampKeys by a guy called Milbertus (milbertus.com) - it's damn handy, you can control Winamp without having it active... Essentially it just combines the z, x, c, v, b keys' functionality with a second key you have to press to pass the command onto the plugin, but it lets you control playback functions without having to have Winamp open (and it even works in most games).

I've just set up a nice plugin to control winamp using my wireless joypad things like:

up + down = vol up + down
left + right = balance left + right
L1 + R1 = previous/next track
L2 + R2 = skip fwd/backward
R3 = Open winamp
x = pause
square = stop
circle = fade out

theres a couple of others but i cant remember right now it works great as i can control winamp anywhere in my room no matter what is on the screen  think the plugin is called 'MyStick' or similar from the winamp site

of course this requires you to have a joypad available

you can also configure it to control loads of other things
