ASPI Preference

Need some knowlegable people for this one!

Did a fair bit of searching & reading on EAC and the interface usage. The choice being between the Installed ASPI Interface or the Native Win Nt, 2k, XP.

Most people seem to switch because of problems getting their drives to operate properly under one or the other. Mine are fortuanatly working under both (Nero as external).

However I am wondering if there are or could be any advantages or disadvantages between using one interface over the other? Does one result in more problems over the other?

I have tried extraction on both settings and I cannot find any difference between the 2 waveforms.

Thanks

...depending on which aspi driver you use, you could get different extraction speeds maybe but the extraction itself (waveform) is not affected... I don't know which aspi driver to choose, but I use the latest from Adaptec...

I was not interested in compatible since both as I said both Native and nero ASPI are working for me.

I was inquiring what if any are the difference that affect EAC or the extracted wav files when you rip with those different ASPIs?
