Transcode 5.1 AC3 to 5.1 AAC

Hello,

I'm trying to convert a 5.1 AC3 to 5.1 AAC. (Using Nero HE-AAC)
The problem is that the channels are mixed up: the center speaker is played through the front right speakers etc.

How come?

What frontend are you using? I always had this problem with foobar2000; but the encoding results are fine while using BeLight.

Well, I use a tool called Staxrip to encode my DVDs to MKV (with x264 video codec and 5.1 AAC audio).
Then I tried to convert the AC3 file seperatly with BeLight, but I've got the same problem.
I RIP my DVDs using DVD Decrypter (latest version) and I enable stream processing.
Could it have something to do with DVD Decrypter?

I SUCCESSFULLY encoded 1 movie (with correct 5.1 AAC sound), but the others I try have the channel problem.

i had that same problem when encoding with Belight/Nero.
U need change the channel order of the source so the encoded remapped AAC has the correct playing mapping.
The source should be C-L-R-Ls-Rs-LFE.
"Screw u guys, I´m going home."
