I hope this is the right place, it's normally audio related stuff I post smile.gif

I just thought this amusing reply to a reply that I'd made was worth pointing at. The discussion is around whether or not to use speaker grills or not. I said I can't tell any difference which is apparently the wrong answer, yet HA "don't encourage debate" and is "bad science".

Anyway, I thought it was funny.

Often times it seems to me that we spend an inordinate amount of time debating. Many of these debates involve placebophiles attempting to justify their position. I can't recall them getting any traction and discussions are often closed when the page count of pointlessness reaches critical mass, but they are allowed to post nonetheless (at least initially before TOS 2, 5 & 8 get the better of them in some cases).

Of course this guy won't be bothered to provide evidence for his claims about our forum.

Even more than that - to me it seems that discussions here often continue way past "page count of pointlessness" ...becoming almost unreadable due to length.
