could someone tell me the difference between direct sound, wave and kernel streaming, and which is the best to use? especially kernel streaming... thanks from a newbie...

Give us more info on your version of windows, soundcard, and cpu specs and we can tell u what work.

use the forum search, been discussed numerous times. some sound cards don't allow KS, but most all allow DS, if not, WO should work, and if it don't, you should upgrade :-D
