Feature request...

Directory Opus is a file manager program for Amiga computer (PC version available). In this program user can configure almost ALL.

How about allowing user to build his own layout with only few clicks (ehh, DirOpus is little more complicated, has his own syntax)?

User will be able to set: position of all buttons, menus, info bars (like volume indicator) etc. also will be able to remove buttons/menus/bars, move them, add image on button, bar, menu, move some options from preferences to new window, make new buttons/menus/bars bundled with options of FB2K (e.g. setting option X to value Y - with only one, configured by user, button! - Z could publish syntax of FB2K) etc. It will be something between skinning and programing. To prevent increasing size of main exe, editing will be available through external editor (like for "ePop" chat program or "Configuration" for DOpus). Something like that is already implemented for playlist viewing.

This option will solve >80% problems with translations, skins, GUIs etc. and allow normal users making new options instead of requesting features and spamming/flooding authors.

I know Z had (has?) Amiga, he probably know Directory Opus and power behind this program. BTW. "Disk Master" (or something similar) also allows to configuring almost all and is older that DOpus, but AFIK hasn`t configuration program, only editable configuration file.

Yeah... I was thinking that it'd be interesting if the SDK was expanded to allow for more main window configuration. If the Album List's functionality was increased somewhat, I could see myself using that more than the normal display mode. And of course, there's the request for real column support as opposed to the monospace hacks that exist. I'd love column support, but I hate monospaced fonts.  That way, the STFU plugin could possibly be integrated into the main window UI more easily, ending the few remaining complaints.

Another suggestion for new function:

Realtime Bitrate Indicator (RBI)
