Soundcard : Aureon Sky or Fortissimo III ?

Well, sorry to start another topic on soundcards but it didn't fit in the other threads.

I've read all these, but I'm still a bit confused :
would there be an audible (=that can be heard - I'm not sure that is correct in english) difference between the digital (or analog) input of, say, the Aureon Sky and the cheaper Fortissimo III ? (I could add the Revo, etc...) Or is the difference only about input ? (cause I don't need that stuff...)
