hidding titlebar not possible in ColumnsUI interface like Curacao (only PUI allow that)
btw an extenal program (autohotkey with an adapted script) that lauch foobar can do the job but not very practical because without the title bar, no way to move the foobar window -------------------- http://br3tt.online.fr/

@rolf1955 many programs can do it (O&O defrag, Photoshop... many cannot -Opera browser -YET). as a workaround try mine
CODE %artist% - %title% - %_time_elapsed% / %length% $info(tool) <> $info(bitrate)/%bitrate% <> %_foobar2000_version% %replaygain_track_gain%

... Hey, Here - that´s what Italkin about: http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/1619/grabitthereko9.jpg Grab it at the dashboard to move the player. i see that you have not tested yet (lol), the zone that you indicate as 'dash board' is no more a anchor because it's a PSS panel. The only way to move a window is to use the titlebar area. try this : http://br3tt.free.fr/files/foobarrun.7z extract the 2 files in the foobar2000 folder, then launch foobar with the fobarrun executable, you'll see that there is no dragable area. [/quote] Thank you !! well - interesting. It´s a nice view now, but no real way to move, right! ...but so it´s may be possible to use the player as a kind of desktop-player, you know - instead the wallpaper. Not also so bad.... But - of course - it´s a little pitty - theres nearly no way to move it anymore - but one circumstantially: you can fit the size on the edges and so you "can manoeuvre" the window across your screen. |

I'm trying to get this to work with a portable version of foobar2000 (not installed in C:\program files\foobar2000). Does anyone have any tips on how I can make this work, without having installed in the default directory?
Thanks! |

I've been getting some fatal errors when I try to start foobar recently (with Curaco installed). It was doing fine for awhile, but now just about every time I shut my computer down and start it up again a different time, foobar fatals 2 or 3 times before it will actually load. It has done this with both Br3tt's Curaco version and the tweaked version now. I saved a few copies of the error reports that are created in Notepad when it fatals, so hopefully they will help in solving this problem.

I've noticed that I can slightly improve smoothness when scrolling by reducing the size of teh background image (wallpaper.jpg). I think originally it's 300KB, but I used Photoshop to reduce it (save for web and devices option) down to around 48KB!
It's improved smoothness in scrolling in the playlist for me. Could anybody else verify this for me? |

Could anybody else verify this for me? tested, it's false... i have scrolled down a full playlist of 630 tracks with a background image very huge (~5Mb), it takes 22,6 seconds to reach the bottom with key down pressed. After converting the image to 186 Kb, same result : 22,6 seconds. -------------------- http://br3tt.online.fr/
