Massive problem with fb2k 1.1.11, when I fiddle around with the preferences, entire computer hangs Options

Hey guys, so I just recently acquired a massive issue with foobar on my computer. Whenever I try to access any options and change stuff, for example: I was trying to change some params for transcoding to my ipod, or trying to change audio output method, or really anything once I hit "Apply" foobar starts to hang, then my ENTIRE computer hangs. This has happened to me before using firefox, where I had to reinstall and create a new profile or else it would hang my system. It could be that I am using a very old win7 install that has accumulated lots of shit over the years. I transferred it to an SSD since I didnt want to lose data. ANYWAYS, the problem is very serious and only started once I installed the latest version. I was working on 1.1.10 and it was wonderful. First it started showing the "failed to locate function AMDeviceNotificationGetThreadHandle" on runtime. I know this pertains to the ipod manager and isnt supported by this subforum, but after the new install everything went to hell. I tried resetting all settings (which completely erased my beautiful UI I made for myself, stupid I didnt backup, as well as my entire media library), still nada. Then I uninstalled foobar and reinstalled it, still crapped out. This all happened when I moved my components to the new folder, I think. I am not overclocking anything, nothing terribly special about my setup. I re-enabled all the non-essential services I disabled, which were disabled the entire time I was running foobz flawlessly. Anywho, foobar troubleshooter said this:

I uninstalled all of those, and still issues. It generated a few crash reports (but not all of em, since the entire system collapsed)

Also, I did just install 10 windows updates last night (dont know how the hell that accumulated, I usually see the updates and run them) all of which were successful. Is anyone having crashes or similar issues? I dont know what the hell to do, my entire music library depends on this program. I could use itunes, but I would rather chop my balls off and eat them myself.
