* Determine if it's MPEG-TS or MPEG-PS
* Accumulate elementary streams into separate buffers * Determine frame boundaries * Remux data from spearate buffers into new program stream |

I second the VideoReDo suggestion. I've been using VideoReDo for many years and have all 3 versions. The latest version TV Suite V4 will do format conversions in addtion to MPEG editing. It works in std def and HD and couldn't be much easier to use. The base version is $50 and worth every penny. I use it for editing out commercials from OTA HD programming and also cutting up standard def ingests from SVHS.
Also look into AVS4YOU software. Lots of power there too for a very reasonable price of $59. I don't use this as much as VRD but when I need it it does the job. G² This post has been edited by Glenn Gundlach: Jan 17 2013, 04:01 |
