Ripping audio from Xvid files?

Hey guys.  I'm looking for a free and relatively simple utility to rip audio from Xvid/Divx files into wav, mp3, or some other easily edited form.  The less intrusive the software, the better.  Thanks for your time.

Use VirtualDubMod - I'm assuming it's an avi? If the audio is VBR mp3, don't rewrite the header, select Streams - Stream List and demux. Then process the audio as you wish.
