I don't have a suspicion.  I would bet my house that Wombat is correct.  But publicly stated mandatory rules ("must") which are applied only on a discretionary basis aren't rules, they are just tools and sometimes only crude weapons.  I think that's a reasonable point to make, and the fact that your response was to send me a pm telling me to "shut the fuck up" and characterising my observation as " butt-hurt off-topic trolling" hasn't done anything to make me think otherwise.

My PM told you to ask an admin if you want to be a moderator or shut the fuck up.  No one elected you to enforce our rules.  If you have a problem with the way in which rules are enforced you are free to start a new topic or PM an admin.

Addressing your next point, I don't care what you think of our forum, I do care that you have a history of being disruptive and this is no exception.
