Can SoX/other freeware overwrite WAVs w/ resampling+normalised volume?

I need to convert and overwrite all .wav files in a certain folder to 16-bit 48khz stereo with -15dBFS normalized peak volume. What command line value should I use? Thanks!

Try:

sox a.wav -b 16 b.wav rate 48000 gain -n -15
"I hear it when I see it."
