For those still complaining about mp3, ogg, aac, mpc etc. not be transparent enough for you, why don't you just load up your computer with 2x 250gb hard drives? Then rip using secure mode and keep them as uncompressed wavs, and your a happy camper.

Yeah, you could do that, sure. But smart people would most likely just bump up the bitrate or just switch to a lossless codec.

1) Portables. 2) People don't want to get more hard drives. 3) WAVs... ? There ARE lossless codecs.
