No offence, but why would you want to convert already crappy .rm files to .avi?, i would just leave them as they are, or try to get better quality copies on irc or something.

no offence, but why bump whats seems to be an old already finished thread
 (and how do you know the files were already crappy? rm video is not that bad at all)
