Pre-emphasis Encoded Cd

I have a CD from the early '80s (UZEB - Between The Lines) that is encoded with pre-emphasis. The result is that the high end of the frequency spectrum is boosted substantially.

I've extracted the CD to a wav file and want to do proper de-emphasis on the file to return it to it's flat response. Has any one delt with this situation succesfully?

I have one of these pre emp cds too.

Creating the filter in CoolEdit took me a very long time until I realised you can right-click on a square on the graph to set it at an exact position. You can get rid of squares by dragging them off-graph. The exact values can be found by >reading< the article in the link from post #2.
