DivX 6.0 is out.

the DivX codec has been updated to v.6.0 final.

there are some obvious changes, like the indrotuction of a built in converter or the splitting in two packs, Divx Create and DivX Play, aswell as support for their own new extension.
and of course some promised quality enhancements under the hood.

I don't like the new decoder. Whenever you open a video that utilizes it, it introduces a visible lag while the tray icon is being loaded (that provides all the fancy functions for new menu-enabled DivX files, i guess). It even steals the focus from the opening Media Player Classic here, making the window flash orange. They'll have to work on that.

The tray icon thing might be fixed,take a look at this...


DivX Toolbar Toggle


It might be what your asking for,don't know,don't use Divx.
