Alright, after an hour or so searching these forums I was unable to find an answer to my question.
I have a .cue'd FLAC file that I want to convert to MP3's. I have Foobar v0.8.3 installed and I have the recommended lame3.97b2 bundle from RareWare as well as the recommended settings. I have not yet done anything with the lame .zip. What I don't understand is where to go from here. Does lame need to be installed, or simply unzipped to a Foobar subdir. Thanks, Kyoujin |

Hi,
Perhaps someone can help me also as I am looking for similar information. In my case I want to convert wav to MP3 with foobar. I have the same problem that Kyoujin had - there is no "LAME" option in the convert settings. I have re-installed foobar (0.8.3) but this has made no difference. Also, I cannot find the file "foo_clienc" Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Spockman *** Please disregard above. I have figured it out!! Sorry for the time waste.
