I didnt want to make my own thread in the support forum so i thought id post my quick question here.

heres the layout im using:



since the album art would be kind of repetitive if i had it there twice i thought id show two different images, one for all the albums and one for the playing album (a grey play button for not playing and red for when playing). so i need something that says when not playing show this image(or show it all the time) and if playing show this other image (or show it over the previous one).

Grey: C:\Program Files\foobar2000\PanelsUI\foovita\foovita\default.png
Red: C:\Program Files\foobar2000\PanelsUI\foovita\foovita\playing.png

I got the grey image up, just not the 'if playing' part.

Waiting for uie_tabs so I can tab-panel my album list with explorer tree.

I know this was a long time ago, but I cannot find a more recent example I like.

How would I go about getting my own foobar2000 to look like the one in the picture here? I have downloaded PanelsUI and ColumnsUI and I have just about managed to get a demonstration 'theme' for PanelsUI working, but it is not particularly brilliant or user friendly, and I was wondering if there was a download for the above theme that I could try and use with my music player? The original Yousendit link is no longer active.

Alternatively, is there a foobar2000 theme site somewhere - like an online database of themes, for example?

I'm a noob when it comes to fb2k but I have got my library setup and everything seems to be working fine. I ran across this topic and I have to say that I'm pretty blown away by what you folks are doing with your layouts.

I'm using the generic Fofr setup with Panels and there are some things that I'd like to change in the layout, which brings me to my point. Is there any kind of tutorial or something like that which explains how to tweak things?

For example antar3s, I really dig the way you have your Album Art setup in the right-hand panel of your config. That is something that I'd really like to do with mine but I'm just not familiar with the code. Same thing with the custom buttons and the "graphic equalizer" that sits on the now playing side

Any help at all would be great. I know I can dump someone else's code into my setup but I'd like to have some idea how it actually works

If this is the wrong place to broach this kind of request, please let me know.

I don't know of a tutorial of the kind you described and i doubt there exists one.
have a look at the panelsui reference and also at the titleformat reference. by looking up the functions in the code and their action in the reference one can figure out whats going on in the code pretty good

edit: if you have further questions about panelsui you should probably ask them in the panelsui thread

Second, Channel Visualization doesn't keep settings in a .pui file but you can change its looks with right click on it and "configure..." there you can make it transparent or whatoever... try playing around.

Second, Channel Visualization doesn't keep settings in a .pui file but you can change its looks with right click on it and "configure..." there you can make it transparent or whatoever... try playing around.

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum/thread.

I can't seem to get this to work dude.
I followed your instructions exactly - then loaded my Media Library and rebooted Foobar but nothing shows!
The panel and everything is fine, but I see no covers, no music.

Any ideas?

If I drag some music into the panels, still none appear. But if I click on play the tracks start playing and the spectrum works fine - just can't see anything except a black whole.

I know this version of bubbleflow works on my PC/Foobar setup, so. . . . ?

Any help much appreciated.

EDIT: ChronFlow seems to work fine (except for the 'Release Of RC Failed. (mainWin)' error - but that's to do with my GPU apparently).
So it must be bubbleflow, although if I do a fresh install of the lastest foobar and use bubbleflow, the covers appear. I know no more work is being done on bubbleflow - but could somebody please be so kind as to shed some light on my situation?

EDIT: Same problem in R E F L E X - no covers are showing...

My first PUI theme. Took about a week. I like everything simple, so I built the theme around the playlist panel with the ability to hide/show multiple panels at the same time through simple mini arrow buttons.

Some of the playlist options panel code was taken from dark1.5c, as I really like how he allowed for panel resizing.

Any likelihood of this being released? Ever since I first saw it I've been keeping my eyes peeled as it looks like a fantastic config!
