I'm using foobar2000 v0.9.1 to transcode some lossless audio files to lossy MP3. If I'm using the "unstable" Monkey's Audio decoder, would this have an impact on the quality of the output file?
Would the decoder in general have an effect on the quality of the output file? Edit: I think I've posted this in the wrong forum. This post has been edited by spikeh: May 27 2006, 14:05 |

If the decoder produces a bit identical WAV file then the answer is no.
