Effect of decoders on the quality of transcoded file, Mainly the "unstable" Monkey's Audio decoder for fb2k

Group: Members Posts: 18 Joined: 25-September 05 Member No.: 24691	I'm using foobar2000 v0.9.1 to transcode some lossless audio files to lossy MP3. If I'm using the "unstable" Monkey's Audio decoder, would this have an impact on the quality of the output file? Would the decoder in general have an effect on the quality of the output file?
