Apple Listens To Its Consumers It only seems like yesterday -- if yesterday was three or four years ago -- that I thought, gee, it'd be nice if iTunes could perform gapless playback. You really have to hand it to such a cutting edge and innovative company like Apple to finally get around to fixing this half a decade down the line. If only their customers had asked for this "feature" way back when.... This is an exciting development because it gives me hope that by 2010 iTunes might then be able to do most of what Audion did in 2002. And maybe by 2012 they'll have fixed their AAC encoder. I can't wait to see what mindblowing bug fix Apple comes out with next!!! |

for tomasch i don't thing rockbox is the way to go because he wants a 'wife friendly' device as he said, and rockbox is no where near being as simple or nice to look at compared with apples firmware.

And, how many DAPs really support gapless playback? -------------------- MAREO: http://www.webearce.com.ar
