I was just thinking about if it is possible to put my foobar on an usb-stick, cuz a friend of mine asked me to bring foobar with me and when I spend some days visiting my parents I could take my music on a portable harddisk with me (it would not be necessary to install foobar on any computer I use...). As I've never seen a special foobar version, I just thought I could ask this question.

Install and uncheck "per user", and be warned about the media library (circumstances may have changed). |

The new version (0.9.4) folder is ~5,5 Mb sized; what we can remove ? (Icons, i think...) |

Minimal functional foobar2000 is 1.13 MB.
CODE C:. │ foobar2000.cfg │ foobar2000.exe │ shared.dll │ └───components foo_input_std.dll foo_ui_std.dll All executables UPX compressed. You can remove stuff like the uninstaller and the title formatting help and so on. I use something like that for my USB key, so I can listen to DI.fm streams at school |

using UPX is sometimes a bad idea though. while the compression is nice, it can cause some problems with some programs(not necessarily foobar2000).
