Hi, could you post a guide for getting that look on Foobar? That skin setting looks really nice. This post has been edited by db1989: Jan 31 2012, 23:24

+1, what are you using for that podcast tab?
I'm hoping the fb2k roadmap includes a nice way to share all these great configs. BTW, how do you guys keep configs sync'd between machines? I have several machines and would love them all to have the same configs. This post has been edited by db1989: Jan 31 2012, 23:24

playing with DUI to test my WSH playlist panel, matching DUI color scheme :) http://img209.imageshack.us/img209/7164/mywshplaylist008.png VS = Concave for Seven Video with Placebo VS : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ud646_0jB9Q Very nice. How do you get to integrate the equalizer panel? Is this also possible with cui? This post has been edited by db1989: Jan 31 2012, 23:25

AFAIK, you can only add the equaliser panel in default UI.
@falstaff, i like your new playlist but removing group headers is cheating. that's the reason i gave up on my playlist. i got to the stage where scrolling worked and group headers worked but i couldn't combine the two to work together because i'm too stupid. |

i'm moving house next week and i'll have no internet for awhile so i might find the time to start again creating my own WSH playlist. not having to consider a group header would make it so much easier but then again it is a feature i do like because i like narrow playlists. if i want to remove it, i'll need to make it wider to get some album info in.

Hey guys. I just downloaded foobar2k, and I'm trying to wrangle it into looking and working the way I want. I love the customizability!
tg2k3 and tdisbd from earlier in the thread both have what look like either library or playlist views in your screenshots. Does anyone know what component that is? I really like the way it looks, but I can't seem to figure out how to get it. Thanks! |

Not sure what portion you are looking at.
Tdishbd post 333 is showing a single instance of a playlist viewer - probably simplaylist. Post 332 shows a facets library viewer above simplaylist. tg2k3 , on right, has a playlist tabbed container holding a simplaylist. On left, not sure. Most likely a tabbed container with facets set to a single pane showing art and text. Could be wrong. PM them. http://www.foobar2000.org/components This post has been edited by tpijag: Nov 6 2011, 14:11 |

Sums up why I have been using Foobar 2000 for the past 6 or so years. Would be good if the status bar could be toggled off in a future release. I don't use title tags in audio files as my audio player shows up the filenames anyway. I only use artist (with two letter country codes or three letter soundtrack code) and album title (with year prefix) tags. I feel all other tags are superfluous and redundant. http://i.imgur.com/5jGvr.png I loled really hard and damned my perfectionism which is the reason why I put countless hours of tagging into my library :-D I never use playlists, so this is more then adequate for me. http://img29.imageshack.us/i/fu1g.jpg/ http://img215.imageshack.us/i/fu2l.jpg/ I really (!) like this one, thanks alot for sharing. I will definitely try to adapt this one to my needs. Is it possible to switch automatically between the Coverview and Playlistview when start playing an album? The podcast column looks really nice! I never listened to podcasts because I found it to clumsy to use but this looks good and easy, will try it! Is it foo_podcatcher with folder jpgs in the downloaded folders? Would you mind sharing the icons? More of a functional than beautiful layout http://i.imgur.com/bCWxul.jpg Also like this idea, will see how I can adapt it to my small Laptopscreen Cheers and many thanks for all your inspiration! When I can find the time to create my own I will let you know! plissk3n This post has been edited by db1989: Jan 31 2012, 23:27

my theme...all information visible (no tabs) thanks to marc2003 and falstaff for their great scripts (some slightly altered for my own needs) http://dl.dropbox.com/u/17136367/foobar.png The last.fm tags panel is altered by you, right? I'd be really happy if you'd share that script. Also, how does the flag thing work? I see you have a country tag, but is it automated in any way, or have you tagged everything manually and dl:ed the icons yourself? This post has been edited by db1989: Jan 31 2012, 23:28

here is the tags script
it is basically the same as the similar artists script from marc2003 (thanks again)...i just changed the last.fm query + use a separate file in the data folder (toptags.json) also display the 'count' from last.fm to get an idea of how popular a tag is for that artist the flag thing is not automated...i store the country per artist in a foo_customdb field (so i had to manually do 1 operation per unique artist that is in my library) the panel then loads the correct flag image (images just stored locally on hdd) This post has been edited by db1989: Jan 31 2012, 23:28

Hmm thanks, but for some reason it crashes, any idea why it does that? I have another panel with marc2003:s similar artists script that works just fine....Maybe I have to create a toptags.json, how do I do that?

Entirely my fault, for some reason I had renamed common.js when I fiddled with another script a while back. It works perfectly now, thanks.
