FLAC Embeded Album Art

I have all my music stored as FLAC with the album art stored as folder.jpg in the album directory.  However, I have a few files that have embeded album art anf foobar 0.9.5 seems to show the embeded art rather than the folder.jpg.  How can I remove the embeded art from the files?  I use foobar for my tagging and don't see any way to do it there.

Thanks,
John

You can do that with MP3TAG.

Select the file you want to remove the art from. extended tags---> click on the X to remove the art--->Save

Assuming that the embedded artwork is in a flac standard PICTURE block then:

metaflac --remove --block-type=PICTURE flacfile.flac

..ought to do it.

If the artwork is in the old, non-standard b64 encoded format, then:

metaflac --remove-tag=COVERART flacfile.flac

..ought to do it.

Those are the only two types of embedded artwork I've dealt with.  There are others, so the above may not work for you.
