Hello.
I am currently using MP3 Frame Remover v4.24 to remove all the non-audio data because in MP3 Test it gives me errors on the songs unless they are completely shaved for all text and such. Is there an alternative to MP3 test? While using MP3 Frame Remover there are some text which filed under "Unknown Header Data" I cannot remove. It's just jibberish signs but they won't go away so is there a program that can actually remove ALL non-audio data in a MP3 file? |

You could give VBRFix a try. It can remove "unknown" data.

foobar2000 has an option to Verify MP3 files as well as fix the VBR headers and a rebuild MP3 streams with no added data; only tags, unless you choose not to add them. I'm not sure if this is what you want or not, but I was able to fix some older MP3's that I have with foobar2000.

It's just jibberish signs but they won't go away so is there a program that can actually remove ALL non-audio data in a MP3 file? try mp3packer with the command options: CODE mp3packer -t -s <file.mp3> That essentially removes all the "padding", all ID3 tags, other structures such as APEv2 tags etc. It does NOT remove the mp3 header.... |
