Hi Folks,

First time poster so I may well have got the wrong section...

I am looking for a program that will take a multiple selection of mp3s or a playlist and produce a single mp3 and cue file.

I only really need the cue file if this helps...

The reason for this is that I have many mixed albums on my computer. For each mixed album, I have it as multiple mp3s and a single mp3 without cue file.

All I want to do is create a cue file so that I can listen to and burn the album without any loss of audio.

I know that foobar 2000 used to have such a feature but for some reason, it has disappeared in newer versions...

Please help!!

Thanks.

Dan.

It is still there. Open the "Converter Setup" dialogue and use the "Generate multi-track files" option.

You can use foobar for just the cue file. I block the files, choose utils | save as cuesheet. And then I have 4 choices, two for creating a track sheet and two for an album sheet. Mind you, I'm a newbie with foobar, so it can be different in your version. I use 0.9.6. You will be missing the exact (original) gap info also.

Remember that mp3's are lossy. But I never have had complaints with cd's burned from them.

Good idea; I think foo_cuesheet_creator is needed for this though.

Remember to check the options available in the "Save as type" dropdown in the "Save Cuesheet" dialogue. You'll probably want "ANSI Album Image Cuesheet".
