Stop Double click from playing

Hi.

I've been trying to change the settings on v.0.9.6.9 so that double clicking on a track in the display panel will not Play, but sends it to a playlist.
I've found a few options that look like they .should. do it, but doesn't actually change anything.
I'm using Columns UI.

How should I be doing this?

What exactly do you mean by the "display panel"? That tree view thing, i.e. album list? Some kind of filter/search panel?
Full-quoting makes you scroll past the same junk over and over.

Sorry, crappily explained.
The window displaying the tracks/track names, as opposed to the window with the folder tree/album list/list of playlists.
By default, the one on the right side.

I believe you already are in a playlist, so double clicking = please play my track

Edit: I do not use Columns UI, but as a rule of thumb - right click for the context menu - maybe you will have an option that helps you.

I know that - I'm asking if there's a way to turn that behaviour off.
Even if it's just off, rather than sending it to another playlist, so that I can double click to select tracks without accidentally playing them and screwing my queued tracks.

Nope, no way.

If you're queuing more than a one or two tracks, you'd probably be better off creating an actual playlist.

Just to add (as OP is CUI user) it can be achieved using ELPlaylist view: "settings > behaviour tab: double click action"
Although I wouldn't replace NG Playlist view if I needed only that feature

Right, well thanks for the responses anyway guys.

The irritation isn't just wrecking my queues, but it's annoying accidentally playing stuff when trying to click and drag stuff from playlist to playlist.

With a bit of luck I'll get used to the new box's touchpad and this'll cease to be a problem.
