How do i make an album by various artists appear as a single album? I have added the "Album Artist" column and entered the "%album artist%" in the display field. But when i try to arrange albums that have various artists through this column, they appear next to one another but spread out, and i want them to be grouped. Under the artist field i have the correct name of each artist, and under Album artist i have "Various artists". This works on itunes, but not here on foobar.
Any help? |

Well i dont understand of what you've said so far nothing so far
I use Colums UI, and i have set the "Album Artist" column and i have entered the "[%album artist%]" under display. And when i want to arrange albums by album artist, this is how the songs of one compilation look like: ![]() This is one album called "Five years of hyperdub", by different artists. If i tag this as by various artists, then i wont be able to know by whom each song is. This is why i want to arrange them by album artist. I am new to foobar customizing, so please be as simple as possible. Thanks This post has been edited by Bryter: Mar 28 2010, 13:49 |
