EAC cfg profiles - invisible? Options

I've been using EAC for a month or two now - superb software.

One thing is baffling me, though - the cfg profiles. On my old computer (Windows XP), I could see them in Windows. On my new computer (Windows 7), which is now running the latest version of EAC, I can't see the cfg profiles at all in Windows, although they are accessible from within EAC.

Even with "show hidden files" and "view protected files" checked in Windows folder properties, I still can't see the EAC cfg files in Windows. Using a "dir" command in a DOS window doesn't help either. Anyone know what is going on here? Not a major issue I know - I'm just curious!

Where are you looking for these profiles? Did you look in the directory for your user account?

I saved the EAC profiles in this directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Exact Audio Copy

When I go to load a profile from within EAC, they show up in the window alongside the subdirectories I would expect to see (CDRDA0, Documentation etc). If I look in here using Windows, I see all the EAC subdirectories and files except for the cfg files.

I've just tried saving a profile to

(1) C:\Program Files (x86)the desktop.
(2) C:\
(3) Desktop (i.e. C:\Users\bluto\Desktop)

All are accessible from within EAC, but only (3) is visible in Windows...
In case it's relevant my account in Windows is an admin account.
