Bluetooth worked with previous versions of foobar

I had consistently used many types of bluetooth headphones to control foobar on XP Pro, Home and with Windows 7. Somewhere along the way it appears as if this function was lost. I can still listen to the player but can now longer stop, start,  go forward or back with tracks using my bluetooth devices. I cannot tell you with which foobar update this situation changed.  It just doesn't work anymore for me.  My bluetooth software is the same (Bluesoleil) as are my various bluetooth devices.  The search engine for this forum failed to bring anything up related to this topic.
I always use the most recent version of foobar2000.
