After updating (just installed beta 2 over beta 1), I can't change between the profiles. If I do so, EAC just crashes without any message, it just disappears. Is this a known error? Are beta 1 profiles not compatible with beta 2?

No But then it's a little strange that the program just crashes, when old profiles are loaded... Many people may update EAC by installing it over the older version. Then everybody who is using profiles should run into similar problems.
