Like the title says, when I close foobar (either while a song is playing or it's not), foobar crashes. I see something about MSVCR80.dll_unloaded, and searching hasn't brought up much information. Here's the info:
Problem signature: Problem Event Name: BEX Application Name: foobar2000.exe Application Version: 1.1.9.0 Application Timestamp: 4eb3f1e7 Fault Module Name: MSVCR80.dll_unloaded Fault Module Version: 0.0.0.0 Fault Module Timestamp: 4dcddbf3 Exception Offset: 73138ced Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Data: 00000008 OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48 Locale ID: 4105 Additional Information 1: 3f75 Additional Information 2: 3f75bb4e531e9431ce48e18d64698afb Additional Information 3: 3f75 Additional Information 4: 3f75bb4e531e9431ce48e18d64698afb I have tried removing all third-party components, and the crash does not occur. When I re-add components one-by-one and try closing foobar, the crash occurs again, but it's with a different component each time. My best guess is that I'm missing some kind of Windows dependency. I have MS Visual C++ runtimes installed, so I'm not sure what it is. A fresh install of foobar doesn't fix the problem. I am using the latest version, on Window 7 64-bit. Any help would be appreciated, thank you! I'm still getting crashes like this from time to time, even with fresh installs of foobar. Can anyone provide some help?

Dependency Walker (depends.exe)
Dependency Walker is a free "object code analyzer" program developed by Steve Miller for Microsoft Windows platforms used to list the imported and exported functions of a portable executable file. It scans any 32-bit or 64-bit Windows module (exe, dll, ocx, sys, etc.) and builds a hierarchical tree diagram of all dependent modules. For each module found, it lists all the functions that are exported by that module, and which of those functions are actually being called by other modules. Another view displays the minimum set of required files, along with detailed information about each file including a full path to the file, base address, version numbers, machine type, debug information, and more. Dependency Walker is also very useful for troubleshooting system errors related to loading and executing modules. Dependency Walker detects many common application problems such as missing modules, invalid modules, import/export mismatches, circular dependency errors, mismatched machine types of modules, and module initialization failures. Dependency Walker was included in Microsoft Visual Studio until Visual Studio 2005 (Version 8.0) and Windows XP SP2 support tools. It only shows the load-time dependencies; it is not possible to know every run-time dependency without disassembling or executing the program. Basic Features: • Runs on Windows 95, 98, Me, NT, 2000, XP, 2003, Vista and 7 • List all dependent modules (portable executables) • Supports 64-bit and Windows CE executables • Detects if the module is programmed in C or C++ • Detects modules not listed in the import address table • Color coding of the list to help highlight problems (broken dependencies are highlighted in red) • Traces dependencies recursively, and lists dependencies of all modules in a tree view External Links: • Homepage [dependencywalker.com] • Wikipedia article [wikipedia.org] • Help, How to use [geekswithblogs.net] • Help, How to use [mozilla.org] • Help, How to use [imacros.net] |

Thanks very much... this seems like an interesting program. I'll look into it and see what I discover!
